Waste Gas Fabricating Company MIG, TIG, and Stick Welding

Waste Gas Fabricating Co. offers advanced MIG, TIG, and stick welding for all steel fabrication needs.

Our full service steel fabrication shop has the equipment and the ASTM-certified welding capability to perform traditional and low-cost stick welding, Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding, and the most advanced, Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding. Each process has certain capabilities and advantages, depending on its application. Our certified welders have the expertise to perform highly crafted and precise work with every welding process and the experience to know which one is best for each project.

MIG Welding

Compared to TIG welding, MIG welding is easier to master. A spool of wire is continuously fed to weld a range of different metals, from thin gauge metal to heavy plate fabrication. Its versatility and ease of use makes it a popular choice for many different industrial applications.

TIG Welding

TIG welding allows skilled welders to work in a lower-temperature environment to create more delicate welds at a slower rate. This challenging and refined technique requires patience, experience, and tremendous skill. WGF is proud to have ASTM-certified welders on staff for our most demanding projects and the welding of steel fabricated products.

Stick Welding

Stick welding is the most traditional and basic of welding techniques, but it is still popular for many different applications because of its low-operating cost, short learning curve, and overall effectiveness in the field. While not as clean as the other methods, it is useful for heavy plate fabrication and other types of work where strength is valued over finish.
